Hi, just read you story - and have tears streaming
down my face. So sorry that you lost you baby, but
please gain strength from knowing that she is no
longer suffering. How awful for you and the pup to
go through years of distress, I can't begin to
imagine your pain. But you tried, and please
believe that is such a wonderful thing for you to
do. At least she wasn't discarded - she had you
and your family, loved, right to the end. And that
is a wonderful thing for you to have done. We will
pray for you and Abbey. We have 2 cavs - Benji and
Louie - you can be an Aunt to them, if you like.
Thanks for your blog and for sharing your story. A
big hug to you and your family, from another cav
family

keep us posted on your little girl. I am concerned my Lucy has SM. She has started yelping for no apparent reason. she has only done this twice and the episodes are probably 6 months apart. She does not have any of the other symptoms. She is only 2.5 is this how SM starts? tonight was her second episode. I got online and found your site. I had no idea about this condition it makes me so sad. Of course this would happen on a long weekend ...we will be going to the ER VET TOMORROW. Please keep Lucy in your prayers. As I will for your Abbey girl.

As a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owner, I came across your blog via google.

Most informative and will give an insight into this little unknown disease.

I want to thank you for your blog. Somehow while doing research on the Caviler it seemed the main concern was with the heart. I don't recall hearing about your condition. I will keep an extra eye on my sisters caviler pup. I wish you and your pup good health and happiness.

Kelev had the COMS surgery 6 months ago. He is going for a follow-up MRI in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that the surgery helped. He still scratches but no longer cries.
