Hi Gary,
I am a writer working on a piece about a course you visited at Spartanburg Day School a few years ago and would love to talk with you about it. (Allyn Steele referred me.) Would you please let me know how I can best contact you?
thanks, Lisa Bennett Communications Director The Center for Ecoliteracy

Great blog! love the pictures. In the 100 degree days...reminder that not so long ago it was cold and we were calling for spring and summer to come on in and warm us! OK..I'm alright to drop that 100 degrees down 10 or 20 degrees now. Would love to see more current articles! How cool to live next to such a wonderful place. |

Signing in for the first time, Gary. Good stuff, especially the music. I heard Paul McCartney in Atlanta last Saturday for the fourth time--two hours and two encores of nonstop music by the 67-year-old Sir Paul, energetic and in fine voice even on the high notes. An evening benefit for the Piedmont Park Conservancy, undampened even by 40 minutes or so of a pretty steady rain. The guy clearly still loves to perform in front of a crowd (the bigger, the better). The date was the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, the 45th of The Beatles' performance in old Shea Stadium in NYC. Took ME back, I can tell you.
Thanks, too, for the mention of Les Paul's passing. Talk about your legends and pioneers... |
