Today my Mom and a friend and myself were leaving a local restaurant just as two members of your group were coming in. My Mom walks with a cane and I have a walking handicap from a car accident several years ago. One of us commented that we were never going to get across the street to our car. (Busy Hwy 6 through downtown Wiarton with traffic as far as you could see both north and south bound.) One of the gentlemen heard this and said "You want to get across the street? We'll help you." Both gentlemen step out onto the road and stopped the traffic in both directions so that we could cross. What an absolutely fabulous thing to do !! You don't see that kind of help from strangers very often. Thank you gentlemen for making us feel very priviledged. Your kindness made our day much brighter. |
