Hello, I like Tyrone Power very much and some of his pictures with his Jaguar XK120 OTS are in my Garage hanging over the original, totalle rebuilt and restaured car - Tyronne's original Jag is now in my garage here in Switzerland. See pictures on xkdata com and search for car no 670513.I love to make contact with one of his kids - but unfortunately I dont have any addresses or contact persons. This has got to be one of nis best! Just watched it once again along with the commentary which is very informative. I have been so pleased that Tyrone Power's films are more often being played on different cable channels. Once today's movie fans really get to know him they will admire him as much as I do. There isn't a man today in Hollywood that could hold a candle to Tyrone Power, Best looking ever, I wish someone would bring him back on the big screen, I want to send well wishes to His Family. This has to be one of his best movies ever. He is just too handsome for words in this role (he just takes your breath away). I also might add that the storyline is interesting as well as the special FX's for its time and the supporting actors in this movie are superb. I only wish one of the movie channels would schedule this movie - so one and all could enjoy. Thanks for this web-site - it's such a wonderful way to honor him. Nov 15th is the 51th anniversary of Tyrone Power"s passing. Nov 10th is rhe birthday of the U.S Marine Corps {formed in 1775). Why the comparison? Tyrone served in the Marines in WW2 from 1943 to 1946 at the height of his movie career. Flying transport planes in the South Pacofic through enemy fire carrying supplies and wounded solddiers to and from American-Japanese bases, Landing in Japan the day after the Atomic was dropped. History says this changed him forever,althiugh he very seldom spoke about it. He was given a Marine funeral and post humously raised his rank to Major. He remained in the Marine Reserves until his death. This is my tribute to a great man and one of the finest actors of his time! Incidentally I'm proud to say my son is a former Marine. I'm so glad FOX MOVIE CHANNEL is finally playing "NIGHTMARE ALLEY" on cable. It will be played again on Nov. 10th in honor of the 51st anniversary of his passing. There is a very interesting back story regarding this film.DARYL ZANUCK, Chief of 20)th CEBTURY FOX took it out of cisculation before the pubblic could see it because the last few scenes "destroyed his good looks" It is now considered one of the best "Film Noir" films.
