nbsp;I am a head teacher of a Pupil Referral Unit for children and young people in Tameside Greater Manchester. We provide an education for pupils, both Primary and Secondary, whose medical or emotional problems make it difficult for them to attend their mainstream school. I am keen to expand their horizons [which are often very limited] by making international links with other disadvantaged children across the world. I want to help them develop a sense of responsibility within the international community.and a caring attitude to others ,who may be even less fortunate than themselves. I have visted Kenya and, like Sue and Dave, I was left with a desire to return and 'do something' that hasn't been possible, but the Inside Out Programme inspired me to write this e mail. I am keen to know if there is anything my little school can do to help your school community and and also help my pupils to develop an understanding of the difficulties faced by their peers in other parts of the world.
