I have grandparents from Urloffen who came to America in 1836 from Urloffen. They arrived in New York City and then travelled to Apple Creek, Perry County, MO, which is near the Mississippi. My grandfather was Vincenz Leibli and my grandmother was Rosana Widemer. It looks like there might be several on the site who share these surnames on the Urloffen site. |
