In August 2007, after spending a day riding my motorcycle in the rain, I stopped at the Torrent River Inn to warm up, and to dry out.
To my surprise this turned out to be my favorite hotel of my Newfoundland trip.Clean and well taken care of, the room had every amenity a modern room would have.The staff was friendly and helpful, I'll give them an "A".
I am planning my next trip to the area now, and will stay there again.

My husband and I visited your Inn a couple of years ago and were very impressed with the whole area. We walked the trail to the salmon ladder but were unable to go in as it was not open yet. We will be coming back next summer as our son will be marrying a local girl from River of Ponds and hopefully the wedding and reception will be held there at your Inn. Hope to see you again next year!

The website is really good except the reservations link does not work; and the contact us link to 'welcome' to be able to send a separate e-mail does not work either. I am looking forward to staying in Hawkes Bay.
