It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Brig Peter. He was a great supporter of our 36 Regiment Reunions and he will be greatly missed. A true Officer and a Gentelman. May he rest in Peace.

Sadly I have just learnt of Harry`s passing away.

Harry was a good soldier, a quality goalkeeper and a very dear friend.

I served with Harry at Piddlehinton and Aden (1962/63) 111 Dragon Bty /37 Regt RA

I have a photo of me and Harry in Aden (18 year olds) if his wife Susan or family/friends would like a copy please contact me.

Rest in peace Harry, I will never forget your good humour and our friendship.

Geoff Simpson

I was only with 111 bty for several weeks prior to disbandment but was fortunate to be left with fond memories.

It is sad to read about the passing of fellow gunners, whether you knew them or not, each passing is equally sad, there is something special about having been a gunner.

There memories will continue to live on in others and this site will always fan the flames of those memories that time fades.

May they all Rest In Peace and our thoughts go to their families.
