I lost a lot of schooling because of the war. I remember the air raid shelter for the juniors.. nothing for seniors! Except that we had to sit in cloakroom.

I attended the Infant School for the first two years of my education along with my two older brothers. Along with my parents, we all migrated to Australia in 1956. I do not have a lot of specific memories, but have always remembered Roxeth Manor as my first school, the tunic uniform I wore, and walking to school. Oh, and the school dinners.
