How did you find us:	Searching for information on my grandfather

I am looking for information about my grandfather, Cpl. Eldon T. Wanzer of Michigan. He passed away in 1980 so I never really had a chance to talk to him. Grandmother says he wouldn't talk about his war years anyway. I'm interested in history and am very proud of him. He was in the 15th Air Force as a Liberator gunner. He served his full 25 missions. There was bad weather after that mission which delayed the arrival of the fresh crews. He went up on his 26th mission. He was subsequently shot down. He was behind enemy lines and had to spend a week or more getting back to friendly territory. He made it to France. He was on missions to Munich, Vienna, and the Ploesti oil fields. My mother served in the Cafeteria in the South Ruislip Air Force Base over a 25 year period. She was, in later years, involved with the youngsters of the USAF service people on the base before moving to Canada ....Vi Cullimore.

i would like 2 know if any 1 knows the where abouts ofa raf man,who was stationed at burtonwood base.1956/1958,all i know is that he was called "OLLY",this cud b short 4 oliver,first or last name..he met my mother TERESA BURKE,he will b around 70yrs old now if he still alive,anyone with any infomation or maybe his children will u please contact me. thank you C.BURKE.
