We had a magical night by candlelight on the verandah. The silence deafening, the herbaceous bush air intoxicating.....or was that the bottle of Tyrells Vat 1? We slept like babies. Didn't hear the wombat but were amazed to see the size of his burrow (?) on a walk the next morning.A magical place. Now that we are home it seems like a wonderful dream. Love the bathroom ! We noticed that most folk sign the physical guest book - mostly because they are on holiday. We were there to work! We came for the peace and quiet so that we could think. Astonishingly the lyre birds declaimed in the morning and evening suggesting that they were related to R2D2. The resident wombat rootled around in the evenings. Something (we don't know what) rustled in the roof. In all, our quiet week was fabulous... we even slept for 12 hours. Our best moment was when the blue eyed dog took us for a walk to wave rock.
