Shawn came to our school today, and I was very otivated by him. He really made me cry because all the stuff he said was so true. I felt that he spoke to me personally like no one ever has. Sure he was funny, but when he got serious, I understood each and everything he had to say. He was the best, and I felt so relieved to know this amazing guy even had teh same problems as me.

Dear Shawn Harper,

I just wanted to thank you soo much for speaking to us. when you were talking about being connected to a chain, i connected and was talking in my mind about how i have that. after listening to your tear dropping "dream" speech and knowing how you got passed the pressures in life, it got to my heart and I now know Im going to just let that all go away now. I slowly will work on that. Also, I feel like i can be more confident to myself and show the world who I really am. when i have my dream come true, i will definately dedicate it all to you. Thanks so much for talking to us all!

Your presentation at boone grove middle school was truly amazing. I'm glad that you know what teens have been through. I've had it rough. Things at home don't go so well and i had decided to make some poor decisions. Last year in 7th grade I started cutting myself because I thought it would help solve the problem. I was always depressed to. But now that I know you "feel" me i realize i don't need to hurt myself to try and solve my problems. I'm happy that you changed the way i feel. You are an amazing person a spectacular ex- COLTS FOOTBALL PLAYER!
