You were such a blessing to the young and old at the (Tobacco Rally) CEED Bldg in Midland/Odessa, July 1, 2009. The young people were very inspired. We are all looking forward to you coming back to Midland/Odessa in the very near future.

I truley enjoyed the the stories you shared with us today at Canton South High School. I have had dreams of working in the NFL as possibly physical therapist, but here recently at work. I was talking to a couple of co- workers about what we want to do after college, well because we work in a nursing home. We were talking about going into the medical field, well it became my turn to speak and i told them i wanted to be something in the NFL. Possibly a physical therapist, and they all told me those people always end up at the YMCA telling all their dreams to their patients. It was at that point in my short seventeen years being on tis plannet i realized how harsh and cruel people can be. Today Mr. Harper you made me realize that those negative people are that chain. As soon as i get to the end of that chain and i hear that sound i step back and think, can i really do this and today i broke that chain. Even though i have large dreams of working in the NFL and most of all with my favorite team the Cleveland Browns, and have no insiders in the league i know i can sill do it. I would love nothing more than to be around the game i love the most but with people that appreciate my work. Thank you so much for not just being a motivational speaker but being someone who truley does care about us students and about our lives.

The 2 days that I was with you was awesome! Shawn what an impact you did for this community in Kendallville,IN.
