There's a good reason for Marpessa Dawn being a One Hit Wonder and never having another hit. She never sang Manha de Carneval in the first place. She just "sang" in the movie Black Orpheus, the real voice being Elizete Cardoso. Of course Marpessa is wonderful in that movie and she stills is but so was Elizete...
