I really enjoyed the time I spent looking at your Newfs on your site.  I have a big smile on my face and feel great inside.  Looking at Newfs and imagining how I feel around them always gives me a lift.  My current Newf is a rescue who was abandoned at age 4 in Thunder Bay.  She was rescued by a Thunder Bay breeder who kept her for a month to be sure she would be safe to be adopted by me.  She was very rough and bossy when I got her and aggressive towards our golden retrievers and bouvier.  Happily, with love, training and consistency, she has developed into an awesome Newf.  She is gentle, funny and loyal.  She is all I think of when I am on my way home from work.

I love the story of how you fell in love with Newfoundland dogs. Quite the same thing happened to my boyfriend. I lived in Newfoundland for 8 years and of course had seen many while I lived there. When I took my boyfriend for his first visit he fell in love with Newfoundland and the Newfoundland dog. He saw a few during the visit and bought a book about the breed. He fell in love with the history of the breed and their gentle nature. That was it for him. When we got back to Vermont we started researching breeders and were very fortunate to find a wonderful breeder right here in Vermont. We got our first Newfie --Cabot--in the fall of 06. Then came his companion Dugan in the fall of 07. They mean everything to us and we couldn't imagine our life without them. You have a beautiful "family". What a great breeding line and gorgeous, "true" Newfies!

Hi there,

My name is jessica and I am 16 years old.. I am a Dog lover but more especially, a Newf lover.. Ive been researching everything about dogs and the different breeds for 3 years now.. And got my first dog last year. (A yorkie :P).. I love newfies, and Hope to own one someday. Even though it will be like, 8 years down the road... Im very impressed by your kennel. You have beautiful dogs ! Hopfully your still doing this when I am ready for my newf, And hopefully you will see me as worthy to own one!

I was wondering, I know they are obviously, Large dogs, but how do they respond to small dogs?.. I know my Yorkie is Larger then the breed standard (9 lbs) and she is great with bigger dogs, Actually, she doesnt like small dogs, the bigger the dog the better she likes them. Her best friend is a German shepherd that I walk and take care of (Shes kinda neglected by her owners).. I hope owning a newf and my girl wouldnt cause any problems. She just adores other dogs! I have a Small obsession with Yorkies, German shepherds, pittbulls and of course, Newfies! :D

You have some beautiful looking dogs there,It is nice to know that they are still a growing breed.I would love to have one but they are a little to big for me.My nephew has one,he is only a couple of months old.
