Pete, I think we met at the Highland Theater in Akron Ohio for a Vanila Fudge Show April 27th over 10 years ago. They played with Iron Butterfly. Could have been 15 years ago. Time sure flys. We emailed each other several times after the show. You were supprised that I found your email.I think it was pete@rockers.com or something like that. You had twin boys. And that show was your first with the Fudge for a live show. Well, I see you have come a long way since then. The Vanilla fudge will be back in Akron November 11 and I will be there ! If you are the same Pete who I emiled back then, (I think you are) send me out an email at LIZZIO@***** I see now you are a regular with Vanilla Fudge. I told you that you were that good. That was the best show ever. Hope the next one will be as good. I am sure it will. Do you remember me? Many thanks. Hi, Pete. Great to see you working with so many other groups. I noticed "The Kootz" are playing at the "Lighthouse Tavern" in Waretown, NJ on my birthday, Oct. 30. Will you be playing with them? I'm 10 minutes from there. Also, I see you worked with Essra Mohawk. She's the one who is the original artist of the "poem" portion in the Fudge's, "Season of the Witch". I'd love to hear her rendition of the poem. Any chance? Let me know when you're playing in south Jersey. Thanks, Pete, hope to hear from you soon. Take care and keep on rockin'. Regards to Jeanne & family. Paul & Karen Message Number: 18 - Thursday, June 18, 2009 21:49:15 EDT - United States ![]()

Pete, Long time no talk to. (I conversed with you a few years ago about the 1967 Fudge concert at Pleasureland. I still get up to Oakland and Pines Lake a few times a year.) I write the occasional blog on Sixties rock for the Princeton Record Exchange. If you are ever playing in the Princeton area, let me know. I'll be happy to give you a free plug. (The more lead time you give me the better.) I was also born in Paterson -- in 1951. We lived on Maryland Ave., and my mother's family was from Trenton Ave. We moved to Oakland in 1957.
