I recall the 50Cal Nighthawk mount a bit different from yours (it may have changed after you Derosed). We mounted the 50 on the right, so the Crew Chief wouldn't get too bored, and a tank searchlight was in the Door Gunner's well on the left. When the Maintenance Platoon became curious about the unusual stress cracks on the R/H gun mount attachment point we decided to retire the gun. Pity!!!

THE NIGHTHAWK UH-1 AIRCRAFT HAD 50 CALIBER AND A MINIGUN MOUNTED OUT THE LEFT DOOR DOES ANYONE HAVE THE MILITARY NOMENCLATURE FOR THESE WEAPON SYSTEMS I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE BUT CANT FIND THEM.THANKS CURTIS EDWARDS
