Refer to message #48 from Bobbie, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but the 341st DID NOT run the tower at Cu Chi, A Co. and HHD did, I was the tower chief from 2-67 till 3-68 when it was blown up and Tom Drury was wounded!!

Hello to all and thank you for your service!
the definition of a veteran; A veteran- whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve- is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" "for an amount up to and including my life" That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
Dave Rowland, Little Bears and HHD 1967-'68
Tower Chief, Cu Chi Tower

I am presently in Hanoi, and going to Saigon in a week. Ha anyone been to the Cu Chi base camp in recent years? I don't know if it is an industrial park or a military base - I have heard both versions.
Today is 14 August, a very sad day for us Little Bears and also for the Diamondheads.
