I am presently in Hanoi, and going to Saigon in a week. Ha anyone been to the Cu Chi base camp in recent years? I don't know if it is an industrial park or a military base - I have heard both versions.
Today is 14 August, a very sad day for us Little Bears and also for the Diamondheads.

I recall the 50Cal Nighthawk mount a bit different from yours (it may have changed after you Derosed). We mounted the 50 on the right, so the Crew Chief wouldn't get too bored, and a tank searchlight was in the Door Gunner's well on the left. When the Maintenance Platoon became curious about the unusual stress cracks on the R/H gun mount attachment point we decided to retire the gun. Pity!!!
