Vietnam Vets of C/1/22 who served during 67-68 in the Tet Battle at Kontum (Feb 68), Chu Moor Mountain (April 68), and VC Valley (June 68) are meeting in Branson, MO on July 22, 23, 24. This is our eighth meeting. This year we are encouraging/inviting vets from A, B, D, and support units to join us. We have a great time renewing friendships.

What a surprise to see a car license plate frame w/ 2/22 Infantry Regiment on it in my own home town. I flagged Dave Milewski to stop. He made it clear that I was going to the reunion even with limited time and resources. WOW! What a great group of guys. I was very proud to be among them all and to see and reaquaint with those I hadn't seen in 40yrs. It was great to make new friends and reminisce. It was fabulous touring Ft Lewis & the museums. I'm happy to have met & spent w/ our WW II vets. Having seen the younger active duty guys from the 22nd,I not only feel our society is secure for the future, but also our country. Visiting w/ Dean Springer, Terry Clark, Bob Price, & wives along w/ Joe Spado, Paul & Jim from B Co was exhilarating, especially when Skip Fahel took time out his busy schedule to sit down w/ us to give his impressions of the operations and people. It was great fun for a newby to the reunion, a great release of emotion, and a chance to thank all of the great guys I served with. Thanks again Dave Milewski, and everyone who contributed to this great event. My best regards to all, JOE
