I am looking for ANY information regarding my great uncle, PFC William E. Maurer (5/29/1926.....#35240832 from Cincinnati, OH) who was KIA near Bölsdorf Germany on or about 3/7/1945. He is buried in a military cemetery in Louisville, Ky. We are doing some research to determine what happened to our family hero. I never knew my Uncle Bill and my Dad, his brother, found it difficult if not impossible to share his story. Hoping someone might have access to information about Uncle Bill.
Any help is deeply appreciated!

I haven't posted on this site since 2016 so I thought I should. C/1/22 Vietnam will hold our annual reunion in October this year. Time marches on for us Vietnam veterans and the window of opportunity to reconnect is closing. Please make every effort to join us in San Antonio. Go to charliecompany.org. to make connection with our group and find info about the reunion. |
