Hello,
nice to be between people who admire and respect Peter
Warlock's music. I'm a pianist from Greece, i play in
duo with the pianist Toula Sideridou and we recently
"discovered" a piano 4 hands score called "the 2 cod-
pieces" by Peter Warlock, arranged by Fred Tomlinson.
The composer is not known in Greece and it will be our
pleasure to play the "2 cod-pieces" in public.
Maria

I am researching Warlock's lovely song "Fair and True" preparatory to including it in my ABRSM diploma recital. Thank you for all the information on this site: it has been most helpful.

Thank you for this valuable resource. I have been listening to Peter Warlock's music, singing it, and accompanying it for some years. No praise is high enough for the originality and expressiveness that we find in his vocal music.

Congratulations on your informative website. I caught the tail end of Stephen Johnson's Radio 3 programme "Listening to Music" about "The Curlew" (15/08/2009), which reminded me of my (amateur and reckless)attempts to play AND sing some of Warlock's songs about 30 years ago. The programme ended with a fine performance of "The Curlew" - very moving.

A really nice site, thank you,! I discovered 'The Curlew' some years ago and have discovered more of Warlocks music since. I had a look at the discography, I have a couple of the discs there but in my collection I have a cd published by Pearl, which has 'The Curlew, The Water lily, Mourne no moe, Chopcherry, My ghostly fader, 5 nursery jingles, the Birds, Sleep and The fairest May. Performed by Haffner String Quartet. 1973 Maybe no longer available but its rather nice.

I would love to hear The Curlew in concert!!!
