I DID NOT KNOW MARILYN PERSONALLY, BUT ONLY THROUGH MY SISTER, JANET CAMPBELL. JANET HAS TOLD ME OF MARILYN'S GREAT COMPASSION AND KINDNESS. SHE HAS LEFT A TREMENDOUS IMPRESSION ON MY SISTER'S LIFE...MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO KNOW HER.

It's taken me a while to be able to do this. Although it's a tribute to our dear friend, it is still very painful. Ed & I loved Marilyn (and Ted) and we will never forget her. I think about her everyday and still don't know why God chose to take her, but all we can do is accept it and look forward to seeing her again in heaven. We miss your laugh, your smile, and your enthusiasm for life friend. We miss seeing you at events and meetings, and our group activities will never be the same. Rest in peace angel and thanks for being our friend. Love, Janet & Ed Campbell

Marilyn, your smile, your laugh, our talks, our PT Cruiser trips and rally, the car shows, the laughs, the fun, the tears, the vacume in space without you. I miss you my forever friend. I am glad for the time we had together even if it was not long enough. Sylvia, The Cat Lady.

'd like to share some memories of my friendship with Marilyn. I was eating lunch in the Emporia Arby's one day when Marilyn and Ted came in. She walked right over and asked if the black Cruiser with the flames was mine. I said yes, and she invited me to a PT Cruiser Club meeting. That was the beginning almost 5 years ago. I have to say Marilyn was one of the sweetest, most thoughtful and generous people I know. I feel blessed to have known her. Her love for life and her family were always evident by the beautiful smile on her face. She was like an angel to me at one of the most difficult times of my life. Last May, my mom was very ill and in the hospital in Wichita. I was feeling very lonely and sad on my way back to the waiting room. When I got to the waiting room, who did I see but Marilyn and Ted sitting there. They were there for Ted's mom. It was so wonderful to see their faces at that moment. It was like God himself put them there. The difficult times of life are so much better when shared with friends, and I was so glad they were there. Knowing Marilyn was a true blessing to me and all who knew her. We all miss her very much, but know God had something really special prepared for he

My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes to Marilyns family. While Marilyn was my neighbor I never did get to know her and feel as if It was my loss. Why we become so busy within ourselves is certainly a big regret for me. I did however work with her daughter Tanaya and from knowing her I know I missed out on knowing someone very special. I have since left the Burlington area and kept in contact with Tanaya, via email. My heart goes out to all family, friends and anyone who knew Marilyn. God bless you all. Sincerely, Melanie

I don't have a pt cruiser but you didn't have to have one to be Marilyn friends. She was a great friend of mine. We had lots of fun at the car shows. I am hoping that maybe some day we can do a car show in her name .I think she would love having that done. I will miss her a lot. I'm so happy to have been her friend. Allen

From the first time that I met Marilyn and got a great big hug from her, I knew that she was a very special lady with an outgoing personality that made it easy to like her. She will be missed by all the people that had the privilage of knowing her. And will be greatly missed. Until we all meet again.

I loved her more than words could ever say. she will always be missed my me and so many others. her and I always said that we loved each other everyday and everynight. And as i held her hand in her final moments and even after that was all i could say was "mom i love you" she new that i know that she heard me. She will always live through me and i hope that i can make her proud. I can not wait for the day till she can hold me again and this time it will be forever!!! I love you mom. Tanaya
