Loved the welcome picture, particularly as I have just found out that some ancestors are buried there, couldn't help but wonder if one of the tombstones may be of interest, could it be Sarah SCOTT bured 25th February 1844.
Hope to find out lots more information re this family.
kind regards

Trying to find information regarding the
church because in 1851 until 1858 my Gt Gt Gt grandmother
and one of her daughters were ladies maids for the tthen
vicar a Reverend Charles Cator and his wife Amelia./>
My GtX3 Grandmother Was Elizabeth Webster and she
died in Stokesly in 1858.  I am wondering if she is
buried there.

Good site by the way, lovely
photos.

I have recently found out that my mother Ivy Dunning
Copping was born at Stokesley, on the 2nd Oct.1917.She was
one of four sisters - their father was James Copping,
whose trade was as a Blacksmith.

I would be most grateful if anyone in the parish knows
of the 'Copping' family, and in particular
whether or not they may be mentioned in the parish records,
due to an error on my birth certificate the 'g' was missed
off my surname when my mother registered my birth in
Hampstead, London. I know that one of my aunts Katherine
Copping moved to Middlesborough, when she married Leslie
Smith.

I would be most grateful for any information.
