Enjoyed my days at TTech and the many times I saw and listened the MBB. The "Mercury Years" complilaton would be good. If I could find those albums on CD, I would buy them. I have all the others. Thanks for the many good times and have a blessed day! Robert

guys, i have been a fan sine the days when i saw you at pep texas. coldwater and all the other names for the club on the loop were some of my favorite times with my friends during the the 80's. ieven got to dance with Latronda a time or two. i was so proud of West Texas Music when ya'll came to Panhandle State University during my junior year there. My kids know your songs by heart i have played them soooo much and they love the style of country and the stories the songs tell so thanks! Jim Burks Lampasas Texas

Was on KLLL radio show, West Texas Music Hour, with Ron Riley @ 1989 - with Lloyd and Kenny, I think. Later (that day, I think) played (sat in) on guitar at a Maines/Joe Ely gig in Lubbock - you guys were (are) the best band, and certainly the best steel (Lloyd), I ever have seen or played with in my life. I decided this was the kind of band I wanted - needless to say, there is no other band like you. Best...Kenny Davis

Glad to see a site for the band!! I grew up in Lubbock in the 70's and left in 82. My childhood memories are filled with great images of growing up in such a great town with such rich music history. The MBB were definitely a major influence on me becoming a musician because my parents always had the MBB bands albums playing, whether it was in the car on out of town trips or in the house, the band's music brings back some awesome memories!! Thanks for posting a site!! Peace!
