Barb Friedhoff DeSanti and I saw Mr. Lane on Dec. 31, 2011. Even though he had had surgery (removal of right leg below the knee) due to diabetes, he was in fine form. Memory sharp as a tack.

Mike Block (LWHS Class of 1972) August, 1954-April, 2004 Former Romeoville Village Trustee (1973-6). NYPD Detective, Manhattan South, 1983-2003. Injured during the 9/11/01 terrorist attack on NY. Passed away from cancer in Berlin, Germany. Buried at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. A brother, uncle, friend, and colleague.

Good Morning class of 72. I've had the opportunity to speak to some of you on facebook. I've enjoyed the communication so much. It's cold and rainy here today, not much is going on today. I hope everyone had a good Mother Day. I know our next reunion will be in 2012 our 40th. Do you plan on having any get together prior to that? This is the first time I have signed the guestbook. I took some time to see the pictures of a lot of friends. It's so sad to see we've lost some. I think Gail and Bill have done a fantastic job keeping us all together. I loved the 30th reunion although it was so hot and muggy out side. Seeing the class again was worth it. I do not know when the next get together will be, but I can't wait to be included. Got Bless us all.
