Very sad to hear about Cedric's passing. He was a character, a great RSM and above all a very nice man. In later years he would regularly turn up for pass out parades at Woolwich and it was always fun to share a pint or two with him in the mess. A sad loss.

I attended school with Roy in the 1950's when we
good friends. We kept in touch for a while but lost
contact in the early 1960's.Since my own retirement
I have been tracking those I knew but regrettably
only located Roy after his death. Very sad but my
fault for being too slow.
So now I can only say rest in peace to my school
friend of long ago.
