Based in Riverside and got my Tech ticket in September of 2015 (studying now for the General). I've been lurking/listening on your repeater for the past two weeks or so (ever since I upgraded my radio and antenna and can now open the repeater). Love the nets, love the chatter, and just sent in my membership application (and fee). Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Nice to hear the NETS, we will start joining as guests in the morning. New HAMS here, I (Larry), had a novice class licence from 1991 to expiration in 2001. Nice to be back on the air, and hope to meet some of you soon.

Used to be member of the KPRA in the mid 1980's. I remember a guy named Ed N6AEY. My call then was N6DFG. Good to see the repeater active! 73..

I really enjoyed listening on Echo Link! I will see if I can plug in the Freq on my radio. Larry Garrisi WB6AZB suggested I listen and it was great! Thanks for making it available on the internet!

We are still waiting for SCE to get to the trouble spot to repair the down lines. The have been using a helicopter off and on because their snowcat has gotten stuck so they are waiting to get that pulled out so they can continue to proceed to the trouble spot. It looks like it might be late tomorrow night or possibly friday afternoon. They cant say with all the problems this last set of storms has left them with.
