What a strong, beautiful young lady. I didn't know Kassidy, but after reading and looking at the pictures and videos i now feel as though i do. You all have done an amazing job with this page. Speaking of amazing- she owned that mat when she was on it. She made her sport look easy- and i can say from experience that it is not easy. She made every event look like it was just second nature to her. A natural. It's just not fair that her life was meant  to be cut short. But, she will inspire many. Me being one of those. I will continue to pray for a cure. Even though she was sick, she was not sad. In her eyes I could tell that she didn't feel as though her quality of life had changed at all. Merely just another event to beat. Family is an amazing thing. You all have done a wonderful job with this page. Very inspirational. I just wish that I could have met her and shook her hand.
I just had a child of my own and i can't imagine what you all have been through. I have cried from just reading and writing here. I also have said a few prayers.

  I've known about Kassidy months befour she passed away. And even know i only got to see her twice at the gym, Kassidy has changed my life completly. The past 2 years there hasnt been a day i dont think about Kass.

  I didnt compete with Kass the year she got cancer. The year Kass got cacer was my first year at Virginia Techniques. But then i started competing with the VA Techniques compatition team the following year after Kass passed away. I have been involved in Gymnastics for 4 years stright and one year while i was 5. So i have been doing gymnastics for 5 years total. The past 3 years i have been at Virginia Techniques, the other 2 years i went to NRV gymnastics center.

  This past weekend (Saterday Febuary 7, 2010) we held our "Kassidy Rockstar Invatational" meet, this was the 3rd Kassidy meet my gym Virginia Techniques has hosted/held sence our beloved Kassidy has passed away. We almost had to cancel it cause of all the snow we got, but Cheryl didnt want to cancel to meet sence it was deadicated to Kassidy. (Cheryl was Kassidy's coach befour Kass passed away.) At the meet they had little placks called "the Sassy Kassy Award", and to my honor i won one of the Sassy Kassy awards it was for the highest event score cause i got the highest vault score for the entire level 6 session. My score was a "9.325". And last year i won a Sassy Kassy award for highest all-around score(: next year i hope i can win another Sassy Kassy ward when i am a level 7.

  My best friend is Kassidy's sister Courtney Foster. Over the weekend I spent the night at courtneys house, and the next day courtney spent the night with me. While i was there Courtney told me alot of stories about Kass and her as they grew up for the little time they did together.

  This year my big sister for the season is Katie Sallie she is the best big sister ever. I wish i could keep Katie as my big sister for the rest of my gymnastics competeing life. But Kassidy was Katies "Best Friend". I know it must have been really hard it is to lose a friend that way. but Katie has Made it 2 years with out Kass very good. Katie is the BEST big ssister EVER!!!!!!!!!!! i love havin Katie as my big sister for this season!

Kassidy you were such an amazing girl! I'm a gymnast, too! You are so beautiful and I wish I could've known you.  I guess I can meet you in heaven though (when I get up there).  I hope heaven is amazing and you are having the time of your life!

Danny, Tammy, Court and Kass,

I woke up this morning thinking about you all. Kassidy's RockStar Invitational is such a wonderful tribute to Sassy Kassy and it is hard to believe that it is here again. I wish we could be there with you. I still remember the first meet and Kass passing out awards for me on her crutches. Remember the good times this weekend...there were so many!

We love and miss you everyday.
