I woke up this morning thinking about you all. Kassidy's RockStar Invitational is such a wonderful tribute to Sassy Kassy and it is hard to believe that it is here again. I wish we could be there with you. I still remember the first meet and Kass passing out awards for me on her crutches. Remember the good times this weekend...there were so many!

I want to show support, but I simply have no words for such a tragedy. I can't even imagine the type of loss that you have suffered. I had osteosarcoma when I was 14, survived, and sometimes I wish terribly that I could take the place of those that did not make it, so that they could remain on this world just a little longer. I hope that you can stay strong, and that one day you will see Kassidy again and be rewarded for the suffering that you have been through.

I would like to say that Kassidy seems like she was an amazing girl. It is so amazing how she battled her disease with such bravery and love for Jesus. I am astounded that this little girl dealt with this horrible sickness and in the midst of it still kept her faith strong. I have said a prayer for your family and Kassidy. I pray that you are all getting through this and keep strong.
