heyy to all. Im sorry about the loss. i never knew or competed with kassidy but i cant stop watching her videos on youtube because they are so touching. They really make you think about your life. Hi kassidy and family i know none of you know me but after reading kassidys story i thought i would share mine with you. i was diognosed with  leukemia in 05 i faught my battle and won i was free of cancer january 13th of 09.  it was verry hard for my family i cant immagine the pain your family went through.  I also did gymnastics i was a level 5 gymnast and cant wait to go back. every time i go i will have you in my mind. best of wishes ~julia

  I am so sorry for your loss. Ive never met Kassidy but hearing her story made me think about life. Its not about how you look, or what people think about you, what matters is whats inside. Hearing Kassidy's story made me realize how precious life is and the people who you share it with. I really wish i could have met hear, but by just hearing her story made her sound like a wonderful girl.

Hey there! The name may not ring a bell, but I'm Marta Timmermann from Roanoke, VA. I competed with Roanoke Academy for 9 years and I am now 14 as I was 13 when Kassidy passed away. Kassidy and I competed against each other from the start of our gymnastics careers and were in the same level each year competeing against one another. I have pictures of her on the awards stand with me, I have score results of hers, and I have clear memory of her. It really hit home. I am actually in the background of one of the videos on this website. She was a beautiful gymnast. I never knew her personally, but I wish I got to know her better. She's in a better place now and I admire the strength of your family as this has been one big roller coaster for you all. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer this past December and now I can understand the emotions you all have faced. I'm very very very sorry for your loss and you're in our prayers. Thank you for showing Roanoke and the gymnastics community courage and strength.

im not sure what led me here today,i had a horrible argument with my daughter brooke who you may or may not remember from ff church. i was pretty mad with her, i left the room grabbed the laptop with the intentions of playing a game but instead i wound up here looking at pictures,videos,and reading journal entries. needless to say im about to get off here and go hug her,who cares what we were arguing about.your beautiful daughter is still touching people and im sure will continue to do so. i think of you all often and pray for you when i do. god bless you all and take care and keep prayer.
