Howdy neighbor!
My wife wants to get a few mini-goats, so I am doing some research and found your place. We live near Ione, WA, on Sullivan Lake Road, so its nice to find 'local' sources.
Right now I am having sticker-shock at the milking hardware. I think she will have to learn how to milk the old fashioned way. I can find cow/goat collection buckets (I forget what the name) used for less than $100, but the vacuum pumps cost a small fortune! Can I tap into my shop air compressor intake for the vacuum source?

Hello Jean and Dave!
I saw the link to your farm website on an email (has it always been there?), and was pleased with the opportunity to see what your farm is all about. I enjoyed the friendly reading (the warmth of your character really comes through in your words) and pictures (especially of the kids). But, this made it quite obvious that I don't know much about what you guys enjoy, rather just the work side of things. :( I'd really like to take a sunny day in the spring to come look around if you don't mind.
