Vietnam Veteran saying reflects the challenges and courage displayed by all Veterans but in particular those who served in Vietnam. VFW has always welcomed home veterans but personally they were the first to reach out to me. It is a wonderful organization that cares for all vets. The entire area of operations throughout Vietnam was a dangerous place which those who served there will readily recall. Many brave men spent their tours there and will never forget that place. Between mortars, rockets, RPGs, booby traps and bullets, there was no safe place in for a soldier in Vietnam.
Remember your Christmas in the Nam? Mine was spent on an ambush patrol near the Cambodian border.
