How wonderful that you in Caddo Mills Texas Opera House have preserved this history. We are planning a vacation to your community next summer.

I am researching family history. My Great Grandfather and Uncle (Uncle died as infant) are believed to be 2 of the unmarked graves in Elm Creek Cemetery. Died 1911, and 1913. Any information appreciated. Coming to Caddo Mills in about a week. (5/16/2015)

My Williams ancestors migrated from Lawrence County, Missouri about 1889. They settled in the area south and east of Caddo Mills along present FM 36. Many Williams and Hughes descendants still reside in the area today. I am interested in any old photos of Caddo Mills between 1890 and 1950.

Hello,

I am looking for historical information about Caddo Mills from when it was founded in 1846.

I am looking for information on the "Henson" family who lived in and around Caddo Mills after the town was founded.
Robert Lee Henson and wife Elizabeth Edwards.
Albert Lee Henson and family as well...

Thank You !

Rick Berryman

My father was James Wayne Johnston. He grew up in old house at end of Main Street, near the cotton gin. My grand parents were Lewis Tonkery and Mary Lucinda Killian Johnston. I am working on family tree and would appreciate any info/pictures you might have about my family. Grandfather built grist mill on Caddo Creek in 1870's and Opry House/movie place about 1906. my phone is 214-551-0829. If yyou have any info on my dad's brothers and sisters please contact me.
