Dear John & Vanessa,
You were the first Canadians I have ever met. And what kind of Canadians you are, the Hokey Goalie who never miss a game and the one who likes to spoil the German student with cookies.
I have been here only for a few month but I got always the feeling that your place is my home. I never felt like some one who just share a house with some one else. You really helped me with my first steps in Canada even so you haven't really notice it. And I am not talking about to give me a ride to the places I have to go or give me direction and tips what I should do and so on. I am talking about the secure feeling you gave me while I was your guest. You were always very patient when I need a explanation for an word I didn't understand or got tired of teaching my english. I could always count on you when there was a problem in a foreign country far from away from home.
Not many people open their house for someone they don't know except from phone calls. But you did...
... I really enjoyed the stay at you
