Im trying to find any information about my Great Grandfather, Joseph McClinton, family rumour has it that he was an officer in the Irish Guards. He was born in Belfast in 1901 and married Jessie Keiller in 1921 in London I believe. He had 4 daughters, 3 born in Belfast the last one born in London. It is also rumoured that he may have been a policeman when he left the army. He had a slightly older brother Samuel that was in the 1st battalion Irish Guards and was killed in Belgium in 1914. I would be grateful for any information, as its almost like he didnt exist! Regards Julia
