Greetings I have found this site due to a request from a David Rossiter looking for information on his brother Richard Rossiter Guardsman 2724463 - in the photo on this site I was the person sitting to the left of Richard Rossiter. If David Rossiter would like to make contact with me please email me at anne- marie.w@clear.net.nz. I think the photos on this site are great - would love to see a photo of the Irish Guard tug of war team in 1946 - I was in this team. Love to hear from anyone that was in the Irish Guards when I was (1945- 1954). My dad was in Sgt Cooneys squad in the early 70's. His name is Noel Baxter. I know that my dad had something to do with blowing up tanks (sorry about the lack of technical terms) and that they trooped the colour in 1974 and as far as I know my dad was 2nd escort to the colour ( i think that is right). My dad is 60 this year and I would love to find either old pictures or find out how to find other guards. If anyone can help I would be truly greatfull. Many thanks Claire Message Number: 244 - Tuesday, June 9, 2009 10:42:51 GMT [IP = 86.130.132.21] -United Kingdom ![]()

Hi Everyone, I had a truly great time on St Patricks Day Windsor with my youngest son Peter, I met up with some truly great micks I had not seen for years and met up with Micks who were at the Midlands dinner Birmingham. It was absolutely glorious weather the parade was spot on. The dinner was great. I couldn't do the march as I have very bad gout. All in all a truly memorable day. The Mick battalion is still as smart as ever. God Bless all Micks past and present, AlbieMc. Thanks Tim.
