Greetings,
I was a Navy Corpsman in Beirut Lebanon with 3/10 at the time of the American Embassy bombing.
Please tell me what I can do, and what I can tell others to do to help get a postage stamp issued.
Is there a website?
Thanks,
Ron,

I was aboard the USS Ponce - LPD-15. Don't remember exact dates but we there after the main pullout in 1984, I was a 1316 - welder - assigned to the Maintanence Platoon, I fabricated crash bumpers for the Embassy vehicles. I have not kept in contact with anybody from our unit but would like to hear from them.

Semper Fidelis. The pictures and stories bring back a flood of memories, some unwanted, as I too managed to find myself on the shores of Beirut as a 19 year old. I believe in what the stories tell and know in my heart that to survive as a nation, we must not only remember, but honor those who have fallen.
