Dumbarton Burns Club Burns Supper on 22/01/2010 was a night to remember. Well organised with an excellent "Immortal Memory" from President Paul, first class entertainment, a superb meal and good company. It was a privilege to be present and to see Jimmy Hempstead again. Hon. Secretary

I am presently the president of the Niagara Falls Canada Burns Club and was made a member of your club in 1988 through Jim Hempstead. I was born in Castlegreen St. Attended Knoxland Primary school and Dumbarton Academy. Emmigrated to Canada in 1967 after marrying a lassie from the Vale.Good luck with your 2009 celebrations. Hope to be back in Scotland in 2009 for the Federation Conference in Edinburgh.Please keep in touch.
