Just thought I would leave a short message to say hi and tell you how much I appreciate the Way. It's part of my DNA at this point, as I am frequently reminded of Way songs as a part of praise and worship in my head. I am a bass player and hope to pull together an evangelistic band remimiscent of Jesus Movement bands of the 70's. I know several of you individually... John, Gary and Dana (met at the Maranatha reunion). The Lord's blessing to you!

It was 1974 and I had just recently given my life to Christ. Music was a big struggle for me- the rock music of my old life brought with it the temptations to the drug, party, culture. One day I went into the "Record Shop" in Big Spring, Texas and came across a number of Christian albums from the Maranatha label - including - "The Way." Wow - what an important and timely place the music did in my spiritual formation. Thanks for your faithfulness to present the Jesus message in a culture that I could connect with. Thirty seven years later still serving and loving Jesus!

I remember Bruce singing "J is for the Judgement..." at Folk Music Day at Ganesha High School in the early 70's. He was a cool hippie senior I admired from a distance and seeing him sing about Jesus was one of the seeds God used to bring me to Him in '71. Love you guys and your music. Keep the Faith.

Hey, Terry Taylor mentioned watching The Way play at Calvary Chapel, last week at a Danial Amos concert, so I had to dig out my old vinyl. They are still amazing songs! It's been years since I listened to them, probably every since I retired my in dash tape player. I am going to order the CDs to again enjoy the music without pops, cracks and static. I am so looking forward to getting them. The two albums inspired me musically and spiritually when I was but a babe in Christ. THANKS!

Hi Dana. I was just kidding on my e-mail to you. I would also like to say to all the members of "The Way" that your ministry and journey is still a blessing to my life. Hi Brothers and Sisters. My wife and I attended Calvary Chapel back when it was at the old "Maranatha Village" site. It has been a long road, but compared to our time with Jesus, this will be but a vapor. Many have us have been through some pretty tough valleys, but God is faithful. My wife and I have 44 yrs., thanks to Jesus and His ever present guiding Word. I pray for my Brothers and Sisters who are enduring trials. Over the years, our children grow up, and we grow up. I can still remember "Maranatha Nights" at Knotts Berry Fary and seeing the "Way" in the wagon area. Love Song was in the auditorium. It is amazing how great Chuck Smith looks. His teaching is a great Blessing to us all. What do you think about a "Maranatha Night" featuring a mix of musical groups and performermers from our time and some current Christian Group
