Greetings from Bonnie Scotland. I discovered "The Way" on "Spotify" after looking for people "similar to Dan Peek". I love that "Jesus people" sound, (major 7th's and all !) and I love the people who discovered Christ in that era because it was so genuine. Because the church didn't go to the youth, God had to go outside the church to bring the youth into the church. I saw Chuck Girard when I used to live in Sydney, Australia...beard and all !. What came through was the that Christ seemed so real. This was not about marketing sales, but just telling people about a reality he had found. Back to "the now"...really loving your music. Thanks.

It was great finding this online! I saw you perform in the fall of 1973 at a small Christian college in northern Indiana - Bethel College. It was a weekend for high school students to visit the college and see if it was where they wanted to attend. You performed one of those evenings, and I fell in love with your music - purchased an LP in the college bookstore, and carried it home 400 miles on the church's school bus we came in. At that time I had a limited number of albums, and only a very small percentage of them were Christian. I played it over and over, just about wearing it out. You and your music made an impact on me - thank you! And, yes, I did end up attending and graduating from Bethel College!

The Way was the band that was playing at a Saturday night concert on March 9, 1974, when my two sisters and I went forward at an altar call to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Ever so often I am struck with nostalgia. And lately it has been the THE WAY. I meet Jesus on my birthday in 1977 and I learned about The Way during my first semester attending Christ for the Nations Institution in Dallas the fall of 1978. I was a fan from then till now. Just got the new CD from Dana today and loved it all, all over again. This journey has been rocky, just as it is right now again, but I still follow the son of the carpenter from Galilee. My King Jesus!

Brothers, I met Jesus in 1976. The first christian music album I ever bought was THE WAY; those funny-looking clay figures captured my 16-year-old imagination. Your music came to me in a small town Puerto Rico and you inspired me to trust God, believe, learn to play the guitar, sing for The Lord. That foundation led me to become a Presbyterian Minister. Thank you for your professionally uncompromising lyrics and your musicianship. May God show you the fruit of your faith and labors. Thank you.

Thanks for making your albums available, especially remastered. I enjoyed them in the late '70s while serving time in the California Department of Corrections. I've missed them.

Good to know you are still playing. I remember both your albums from back in the 1970's when I was in college. Favorite song? Do You Feel The Change. The guitar work is nothing short of brilliant in that song.
