Last year you performed your music at our Brighton Bank company Christmas party and I loved every minute of it. It is no understatement to say that you were by far the best we had ever had. I told you that then, so why am I telling you again now?! I bought a couple of copies of "Pontiac Rocket" and "Sleepy Little Town" right after that and am still enjoying them today. The friends that I have shared them with have also loved them. I'm glad I can still get them on your website. Thank you for your sweet music, voice and inspiration. Sincerely, Marianne Hunt
Cori, what an amazing voice, gift for poetry and understanding of what moves the human spirit. I listen to you sing and it's 32 years ago with you playing the guitar, laughing and biting your way through tons of sunflower seeds. During last year when it seemed I'd reached platinum status with frequent flier miles to hell, I listened to you &laughed, smiled and cried through a year of cancer, work travel and renewal of commitment to my own talents as well as cherishing talents of people like you who inspire me daily with your gifts. Living is important because I just have to see what tomorrow brings, for all of us. Your ageless voice and soulful lyrics astound.
I just wanted to tell you that I love your music. I have only heard a few snipits, but you are amazing. I am a friend of John and Ashley. I used to teach with Ash. We are coming to your concert tonight...and we are so excited! Keep up the good work!
Yesterday I went to see my mother in a care center in Draper, Utah. As I was leaving, I was invited in for a Mother/Daughter event at the care center. Since I am a man, I felt dumb going in. Then I heard Cori sing. After crying from seeing these ladies sing along with her, to knowing how special it was to each of these mothers, I knew I needed to be there. Cori is a wonderful storyteller through her music and has a wonderful voice. God Bless You!
Cori, I've listened to your music on Kzion.com for some time and really enjoy it. I enjoy the storytelling and the gentleness of the melodies. Do you do concerts? A friend and I are trying to start a series of concerts to bring many of the great LDS artists we know of to the good people here in North Carolina. Recently we hosted Peter Breinholt and it was a great success. Most of the names Dennis wants to schedule in the future are men but I told him we also need musicians from the female side because they have their own appeal. Hello Cori I first heard you perform at the Saints on the Seas concert in Liverpool. "Good Winds" was definitely the highlight for me. My wife just bought me an ipod for my birthday so I thought I would see if you had anything on itunes, and hey presto I came accross Pontiac Rocket which I downloaded. The whole album is great, the tunes are really memorable and the words have real meaning. Do you have any plans to perform in teh UK again soon? I was in SLC for conference last October - I should have checked then for performances in Utah. Also is it psosible to get copies of the sheet music for Pontiac Rocket. Hope to hear from you soon. My heartfelt thanks for helping me conjure up so many dear holiday memories with Sleepy Little Town. The melodies, harmonies and stories on Pontiac Rocket inspire feelings of hope and warmth and triumph and appreciation for simpler times.
