I am looking for Almon (Almond) Griffin born in CT abt 1797 and died in Ohio on Sept 6, 1860. He lived in Hartford Twp of Trumbull County Ohio.

I also beleive he served in the War of 1812 and is listed in the Soliders grave records of The War of 1812 buried in Ohio. His grave site is at the West Street Cemt. in Hartford, OH.

Thank you
Ken Griffin

Sorry, I slipped by and missed your name; I'll probably see it when I exit. Anyhow, I'm looking for the record of David Hoskin or Hoskins, Senior, He supposedly is the father of Erastus, who was my gggGrandfather, I have been told by another source that Erastus is mentioned in the will of David, who died July 25, 1779. Simsbury, Ct. is clearly the home of David Sr. His oldest son was David Jr.
David Sr. was supposedly married to Phoebe (Hill)or Messenger in 1758.
So this is my Block.
