I know the water is dirty, but is there any pogies around? I want to come down this weekend and try my luck at lighthouse rock. I also read your report that they seemed to be preferring cigar minnows over live bait, but i just like to have a selection.

As you know, they can be picky.

Capt. Butch,

A big thank you for from Bryan, Ray, Darrell, Trevor, & Justin from Greenville, SC. The hard work from you and Tyler made for a great day of fishing for all of us.

If any one who reads this is considering booking a trip with the Yeah Right, I highly recommend Capt. Butch. We ended up catching more than 150 fish in our day on the water, which exceed our expectations!! Capt. Butch, however, still wasn't satisfied with the size or quantity of fish we did catch. This man is serious about putting his clients on great fishing!

We will definetly be booking another trip on the Yeah Right without a doubt. Thanks again Capt. Butch for the great time had by all, and we look forward to our next adventure with you on the Yeah Right.

Bryan Detandt

Dear Capt.,

Very much enjoyed your site and the methodology and care you provide in your services.  I am moving down from Long Island, new York to Southport in the near future.  As an avid fisherman myself I will be lloking forward to booking a charter with you down the road. Thank you for the enjoyable interned experience and tight lines.

Best wishes,

Frank Venti

Captian Butch,

It was a pleasure to meet you today at Wildlife ramp and I enjoyed our brief fishin' talk.  I want to again thank you for taking the time to share fishing reports with the rest of us.  I am sure the last thing you want to do after a day in the sun is sit down and edit a web page but I appreciate your sharing of wisdom and and the current bite info.  I always check in before I go!

In the spirit of that, I will say that those trout today bit hard in about 4 feet of water at the top of the outgoing tide.  I was fishing about 2 feet deep under a float and throwing live shrimp up into the creek, letting it drift back out to the mouth where they were waiting.  They seemed to move into deeper water as the tide dropped halfway but I already had a couple of fish dinners in the box so I came on to the hill.

Hello Capt Butch!

Thank you for a great trip on the 6th of June! Capt Killer, Yogi, Mike and myself all agreed afterward that it was one of the best trips we had ever been on and that you really practice what you preach. I hope to be able to talk you into coming back to Kernersville this fall or winter and put on another program. Everyone in the NCW should have an opportunity to experience one. Thanks also to Tyler. We really worked him hard and he did an excellent job.

Hope to see you again soon! Thanks again.......

Capt. SD
