We have just returned from Cala Fionn, our third visit. Our friends and ourselves had a wonderful week,during mid-January 2011 - the cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and cosy. The area is ideal with the river and beach on the doorstep and lots of forest walks. Well done to Cath and Roger for making our stay in this great location possible. p.s. Our dog just loves his holidays at Cala Fionn too!

This was our first stay at the Cala Fionn.Roger and Cath deserve the gold award for this wonderful comfy cottage,we wish we could have had a longer stay.The cottage was lovely,in a perfect location with fantastic views and walks on the doorstep. The locals were very friendly,the pubs and shop were really good and our plans are to definitely come back in the future

We stayed here last year and thought it was that lovely that we decided to come again this. The cottage is comfortable and so handy for the beach to take the dogs on. The cottage has everything to make your stay there very nice, home from home. It is very quiet which we wanted, i think the dogs were a bit afraid of the dark as they would not go out past 7 pm. The people who live in the nearby cottages and carradale are so friendly and make you feel very welcome. Cath and Roger are a lovely couple and would like to thank them very much for letting us stay in their cottage. The scenery, the beaches and the wild life in the area is outstanding. This cottage is a must for anyone who wants a quiet week away with lovely views. many thanks Moira and Michael Burke

We stayed at Cala Fionn in October and it is a beatiful warm bungalow with fantastic views. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped and it is a very romantic getaway. Thanks Cath and Roger for a wonderful break.

Michael, Nina and Freddie (the dog) 4th September 2010 to 11th September 2010 Spent 7 days at this beautiful cottage with nothing more that the sound of the sea. Woke up every morning and walked the 30 yards to the beach with a cup of coffee in our hands (Freddie loved this straight into the sea). The cottage was very clean and well equipped, we did not want for anything. The views are spectacular and we sat in the bay window every night with a glass of wine and watched the sun go down. We have been to Wales for the last 3 years and Nina was not sure if she would like Scotland but she says she has now fallen in love with the place. The locals in the shop, pub and Hotel are very friendly allowing dogs in so we could even go out with Freddie for a meal. We will be back.

We spent a lovely week here 23rd -31st July 2010 and cannot recommend Cala Fionn enough. Coming from the area myself, we are no strangers to the beauty and tranquility, but the warm welcome from Roger, Cath and Bella coupled with the outstanding accommodation was second to none. You though of everything! Rebus loved his new home and play area too....puppydog heaven. Will certainly be back and recommend to frieds and family Thank you both.
