We popped in for some lunch a couple of weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the owners and the quality of the food.
We had "Bitoque". It was very well prepared and tasty. It was followed by a "bica" and a "Pastel de nata". What a fantastic way to end a lovely meal in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We will definitely be going back for more.

The best coffee outside Peniche.
The cafe is run by the owner Ceaser he seems to be very good to all his staff I think they are very lucky to have such a good boss.

"The owners, Carla & Cesar has been created a great atmosphere with their great coffee (speaking as one who doesn't usually like it!) and excellent food (the Antipastp salad is gorgeous). You can get a takeaway but it is good to sit outside and watch the world go by."

Great cafe (particularly for Saturday mornings or is it the afternoon?, owners Cesar and Carla are very friendly and has created a relaxed atmosphere. Food, no matter what you choose, is excellent. If you are feeling courageous enough, try their 3-slice chicken piri piri toasted sandwich!!! You will not be disappointed. It is a great place to meet friends over a coffee and/or other drinks or dishes. And if you want to read your newspaper quietly, it is an ideal place to do it over a coffee.

My favourite restaurant used to be in Worthing but this closed due to the owner retiring to his native country, Italy. The restaurant had served delicious Mediterranean dishes and I thought I would be hard pressed to find a successor. My search ended in my own home village when I discovered Cafe Feliz. You can be assured of an excellent service by the proprietors, Carla and Cesar. Their friendliness is infectious and rubs on you as you walk into their cafe. They serve the best coffee and cakes for miles around. If you fancy a Mediterranean cuisine or simply a hot/cold snack to eat in or take away you won't be disappointed. I could recommend something for you to eat or drink but I can't because they're all good. Their colourful website (which is continually updated) is a delight to browse through.

Yes, Cafe Feliz must have the best coffee in the district. Not only that, the Pastel de Nata (small custard tarts with cinamon) are delicious and I really enjoy their toasted sandwiches - especially the 3-slice cheese and bacon. The Portugese beers are also excellent - try a Super Bock!
As a bonus, owners Carla and Cesar are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet.
Sitting outsite the cafe in the sun, watching and chatting to the good people of Angmering village, I could easily be in the Mediterranean!
