Dear Amanda,

A beautiful story! "Singing For
Souls", sparked a special remembrance of fond memories
in my heart because as you know music holds a special part
of my life. I also sang in church choirs and as a
soloist for years until the birth of my
first child. The joy I experienced sharing my
voice while singing God's music is something
that will always remain with me. Any love
story centered around music is a bonus. Your story had
a surprised ending but a totally wonderful and right
one. Thanks for sharing and thanks again for the
honor to share a story alongside yours.

Fond
Blessings, Claire

am signing in,  to offer my thanks for asking me to
come on board. I see that like myself you have many visits
to your guestbook , but not many people leave a message. I
wonder why this is.

I wish you so

Amanda Bristol,

I really enjoyed your ICE CREAM SUNDAE in July's isssue.
I worked in a nursing/retirement facility for some time as
a nurse and I recall the gossip and bickering
between senior clients. The competition for romantic
partners and companionship was fierce with
extreme jealousy at times, just as if they
were young teenagers. It was amusing. Thanks for
capturing those aspects in this story. The need for
companionship doesn't end no matter what age. Claire

Amanda,

I really
enjoyed your, "Golf Widow" story. It is very
realistic, the uncertainty of a new life, meeting the
opposite sex and also the pain the widow experiences
from being in a somewhat unhappy marriage and the
relief afterwards. I know there are many "golf widows"
in the community where I live, and their husbands are
still alive. Claire

Claire,

Absolutely loved the 2nd part of the story, but it left
me yearning for more! Is there a part 3?
