I first went to the 3c@PG soon after itopened ona hot summesr day and sat in te garden with 2 x trencherman mates. It seemed to be off to a good start.

But I have ben back this week with 2 similarly hearty fellows andwe hada superb lunch and realy friendly welcome. So much so that I went back again the next day with a lovely lady of my aguiantance who loved it to bits too.

I am sure that on match days a different ambience will pertain. But more power to your excellent elbows!!

I really enjoyed my lunch today with you. The starer of goats cheese tart was delicious and the duck salad equally enjoyable.

Staff are very efficient and it is fantastic to go somewhere to have a choice of a good atmosphere and good menu. I will recommend you.

Yesterday as approx 4pm we arrived at The three Compasses fully expecting to be told that food was not served at that time, as most places stop serving at around 2pm, however we were given a very warm welcome,the food was superb and nothing too much trouble. Full marks to Jenny and the team, the Caley family will definately be back.

Dear Jenny,

My wife had been invited out to a Retired Staff Lunch at the Three Waggoner's in Ayot St.Lawrence. She was to be picked up for a 12.30 lunch.
But at 12.25 ,the person who was to pick her up, had not done so....she had forgotten.
So as a recompense, I took her "down our road" to the Three Compasses.
Excellent meal and a most caring service. Greatly enjoyed. It made up for the disappointment of not being at the Old Teaching staff Reunion! In fact Old Teaching Staff are so yawningly boring, that perhaps.....dare I whisper it... this was better?
