What can I say guys?
A resounding win yesterday in difficult conditions. Your attitude was spot on right from the start. We asked you to keep the ball down due to the wind and some of your passing and movement was the best we've seen from you this season.
Falkirk 2 tried hard but you played some great stuff. The challenge now is to do that every week against every team. It doesn't matter how big or strong they look, if you can pass the ball around like you did yesterday, you'll be a match for them.
Great end to the season. Well done! |

| Great effort again today boys, played some good football in very windy conditions and got the result you deserved. Some times we need to take a touch on the ball and not panick and just kick it anywhere, but we will keep working on that in training.Once again you can be proud of yourselfs this season.WELL DONE. |

How Good was that Boys ?
It's easy when you all play as a team, U defended from the front & U all worked ure socks off!!
Great win!! but it's been coming for the last 6 or 7 weeks, if u can stop letting heads go down when u lose a goal, improve our passing & movement, keep fighting for each other then u'll win more games.
Keep it up!! Same efort next week, Same result
Well done!!
Cheers for support Mick, there is a God!!! |

Thanks Mike. Well done on your lads result.
Boys got their reward today for all the hard work they've put in in the last few weeks and they did themselves and the club proud today. Colin, Phil & myself were delighted for you all.
Can't pretend we didn't have a few heart in the mouth moments as usual but to win your first game and keep a clean sheet at the same time was outstanding. Let's stay focused though as we play another one of the Falkirk teams next week and they'll be wanting revenge.
Well done again and let's keep up the good work in training this week. |

A really good effort this morning guys.
1-0 up and playing well then Dunblane equalised and the roof fell in. The heads went down, the nerves started to creep in and we lost another 3 quick goals which were all avoidable. You fought back really well in the second half but came up just short.
It's encouraging that we've created a lot more chances in the last 2 games but we need to take more of them. We need to be stronger in the first tackle. Too many times we put a tackle in but Dunblane came away with the ball. We all need to be more aware of what (& who) is around us. In defence, we got caught ball watching a number of times and let their players away from us to score. In attack, we could have hit a quicker pass to create a better chance.
Keep working this hard, cut out some of the mistakes and the results will come. |

Tough game this morning against Falkirk's Pro Youth team.
Early K.O. but we did what we do most Saturday morning and didn't start playing for the first 15 mins. We need to be ready right from the start because almost every week we give the other team 2 or 3 goals before we wake up and start playing.
They were a very good team. Never mind the score. Their passing, movement and COMMUNICATION! was excellent and we need to learn from that. They also used their shoulders and upper body strength to muscle us off the ball to great effect. We need to be stronger on the pitch and not allow ourselves to be bullied off the ball.
I hope we've all learnt something this morning that we can work on and use ourselves.
Thanks to you guys and your parents for coming along both days and thanks to Kai & Harrison for their special guest appearances.

So close yesterday.
Couldn't believe we were behind at half-time. We don't often get lots of chances in a game, so when we do we need to take them. We need to make the keeper work harder, too many shots were straight at him.
Every time we pulled a goal back, we switched off and let them score again. Dunblane's No.9 scored all their goals 2 or 3 from distance and we were still giving him all the space in the world. We need to close down quicker and someone to take responsibility to do it.
Lot of good stuff played yesterday but we need to start quicker and keep our concentration for the whole game. |
