I was a member of Co. B of the 746 Tank Battalion and was hit just a few days before the end of combat for the 746th Bn. I would very much like to contact Tom McKinley a former tank driver in company B whom I believe entered the service from Muncie, Indiana. My father, William J Van Slyck, drove a tank for the 746th after being drafted in August 1943. He was discharged in December 1945 but saw action in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Normandy. This is a great web site and has a lot of information I did not know. Thanks

My Grandfather was in the 746th tank Battalion. His name was Walter A. York -- most called him Berry. He was killed in Normandy in July 1944. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of him with his unit. Would love to hear from anyone that has any information.
