I did not know this lady. However, I can tell by the light that comes from her smile and the love that pervades her story that she was more than an elder. She gave life, light and love to all people of Manataka. I honor her spirit and her life. Thank-you for sharing her story with those of us who did not know her. Now we know her spirit: May it soar with the eagles.

Blue Star was a very special person, loved by and loving many,many people. All of we members of Manatake have been blessed greatly by being a part of her life. It is a blessing just knowing that she is at Creator's side and watching over and helping all of us. We miss you Blue Star! I just found out the exact date of her passing and was shocked to discover it happened on my 59th birthday. From now on, my birthday will be celebrated with her spirit beside me!
