Merry Christmas Dearest Peyton,

You would now be 6 and super excited about Santa's visit. What kind of things would you wish for? Would you be a tomboy or a girlie-girl, or maybe a combination of both the way your sister is.

We wish you could be visiting and excitedly opening presents and your stocking, one filled especially for you. we hope you liked your grave blanket and want you to always know how much you were loved and wanted in this life, but it just wasn't meant to be, so we will have to look forward to being with you in the next. You were so sweet, and so wise looking, and have no doubt you are looking down at your family with love and guidance.

Merry Christmas in heaven Peyton. Enjoy being with your cousin and all the friends and relatives whose lives were so touched by you.

We don't forget how special you were and always will be.

Love,

Grandma and PopPop

Our dear little baby girl, Peyton -
On your fourth birthday, PopPop and I toasted your birth and the love and joy we felt seeing you oh so briefly when your daddy brought you in to the visitor's room before the nurses whisked you away. We had just seconds to see you but we were so excited at the prospect of what your life would be like. It turned out so differently from what we hoped - and yet you gave so much love in your short time on earth, that we cannot be anything but grateful for having held and loved you, as we still do now.
Today is the fourth anniversary of when you left us. Your mom and dad always say you leave messages or awarenesses that they know come from you. Well you did it to us too. In the middle of the night, I heard a beep, beep, beep and couldn't figure out from where it came. I got up and followed the sound and there it was - a clock we leave at the entrance hall which has never been set, and yet it's alarm went off. I went to bed thinking of your upcoming anniversary and the bee

Peyton,

We miss not being able to spend time at the cemetery with you since everything is buried under so much snow. But you are prayed for, and to, every night and not a day goes by that we don't think of you, whether seeing your picture in the car or by my dresser. Take good care of your mommy and daddy and your baby brother and sister. Help them come into the world easily and give your parents the joy they so richly deserve. We know you will guide them and you will always be the "Big Sister".
Sweet baby girl - we know you can be counted on!
Love,
Grandma and Pop Pop
