Hello Alan. I figured I would sign up for your daily ponderable so mother, Susie, will quite e-mailing them to me. I have always enjoyed your work. I am sure mother told you that I use your thanksgiving grace every year. This year it circled back around to her via text. Have a wonderful holiday season. Hello Mr. Harris, I wanted to let you know that my new Christmas CD will be including your poem Listening to Christmas. The poem was composed by Mika Mylläri (my brother), he also plays the piano in this, I sing and Anyango Yerba-Davenport plays the violin. This will be available on ITunes in a few weeks. Hi Al, I never made it to Tucson this year but will try to visit in 2010. Happy Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas too. Just marked 34 years at ComEd. Hard to believe. See you are still writing poetry and lots of people love your work. Continued success. Message Number: 23 - Tuesday, November 17, 2009 08:54:16 MST [IP = 206.16.237.32] -United States ![]()
I don't know everything about English, but I have a curious question: when a name ends with an "s" are you not supposed to simply place a single aposthrophe behind that last letter and not place another "s" after the aposthrophed letter? If so, I think your front page needs to be reexamined. If wrong, please forgive. Message Number: 22 - Wednesday, October 14, 2009 23:39:52 MST [IP = 76.195.84.255] -United States ![]()

Al, I love the pictures of the saguaro cacti. I will probably visit Tucson this March. Areas I have always liked: Sabino Canyon, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Randolph Park Zoo, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson-Electric Park and driving on Gates-Pass (that view is amazing). I am still working at Comed (Exelon) as a database administrator. Hope to retire soon . Best Wishes. Hey Friend in Tucson from an old friend of both you, Alan, and Linda, greetings from the Flatlands of IL. Loved, loved the photos of the rainbows in Tucson. I believe I've only taken one photo of a rainbow and it was years ago before digital cameras so I wasn't impressed, even though I knew in my minds-eye, my rainbow photo was much prettier than appeared on the developed photo. Alan, I know our family has a stronger than typical connection. Last night after leaving a funeral home visitation we met friends for dinner and saw a rainbow. I've haven't seen a rainbow for several years and rarely do e-mail but couldn't sleep so got up before 5:00 a.m. kinda restless, jumping from making a grocery list to deciding to check e-mail. I was so connected with you, Alan, as I viewed your rainbows. Most especially since we saw the rainbow last evening about 7:00 p.m. As I said it's been awhile since I'd even seen a rainbow. So know that your photos of the rainbows can have a way of connecting hearts and spirits of those who view them. Thank you friend, Don and Val Jensen P.S. Was #9 taken through a window? I enjoyed all of them, #12 was a favorite.
