i have a wolfhound x dane x mastiff called Zildjian. He is a bit of a handfull at 10 months old and loves to play with my 13yo spaniel terrier x . we bought him locally here in Tasmania Australia. we live in a small town and often get asked what he is and pulled up by kids and adults alike to pat the big dog. he is 28 inches at the shoulder at 10 months. We have done puppy school and now doing obedience training. mum is the boss and he has it all over my husband. He plays with my 4 yo nephew and is proving to b one of the best dogs i have owned. As my mum was born in Ireland i feel privelaged to own such a giant cross breed and he brings us much joy.

Hello--I love your site!  I just became an IW owner for the first time--I have always had dogs but never an IW.  The time never seemed right to own one--well now it is!  I can say that my pup is a wonderful girl and is she getting huge!  I have all different breeds all my life but this breed just seems to be the most wonderful of all that I have owned---she just loves people!  I am thinking about having her become a "good citizen" canine as she loves to meet people of all ages.  Well--thanks for reading and keep up the good work on the site!
