We stumbled across you on the Internet, were impressed by your website, and now we have visited you we are even more impressed. The the food was excellent, the staff friendly and considerate the accomodation clean and comfortable and the location stunning.We have no hesitation in recommending you to our friends and will certainly stay with you again

This was our 3rd visit of the year which speaks for itself.The pub and area have a magic which you  rarely experience,give it a try and you will not be dissapointed.

We had a fantastic stay with you thank you very much. The location is stunning, and we really enjoyed being served breakfast by the river. All of the staff were very helpful, The rooms were really comfortable, and we look forward to a return trip.

We would reccomend The Waterman's Arms without hesitation.The warm welcome,the friendliness of the staff for whom nothing was too much bother, the comfortable room with very well equipped "Hostess Tray"all made our stay such a pleasant experience.

The food was wonderful and it was nice to have smaller appetites catered for.

We are now hoping to return early next year.

We stayed at the Watermans Arms for a long weekend break in June 2009 and what an exceptionally nice place it is.  The rooms were very clean and all of the staff were warm and welcoming.  The food is guarenteed to add a couple of pounds to your waistline as it was always to the highest of standards and plenty of it.

Without a doubt, this has to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in within the UK and would recommend it (and have now several times) to others.

It;s fantastic value for money and I wish them every sucess for the future.

I stayed at the Waterman's Arms with my family.  We had a wonderful stay, the management and staff were all very welcoming and helpful.  The food was well presented and a very high standard.  The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and a relaxing place to come back to each evening.

Every member of the staff made you feel welcomed and went out of their way to give an exceptional service.  Their cheerfulness, whether from behind the bar or at the breakfast table, made us feel at home.

The bar and outside patio are great places to relax and enjoy a drink with friends and any of the locals who stop by.

I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

I stumbled across this inn while searching the internet for a short half term break in Devon and am so glad I did. Beautiful location and so many little thoughtful extras that made our stay really comfortable and relaxing. Great for seeing the sights of south Devon or for just relaxing in this truly idyllic place.
