Thank you, Holdahls, for keeping your site (somewhat) updated. We love hearing from you. My Facebook feed moves too quickly, so I can always come here and see your beautiful faces. So amazed by all of you. Hope to see you soon. Ian

Hi Dr. Holdahl- Just a note from an old patient of yours. I saw your interviews on TV. You said you wanted to get on with life and become a teacher.I want to tell you about my son Glenn, who lives here in Woodland. Two years ago he changed careers at age 43. He got a tutoring job with the Evergreen School Dist. He liked it so well that he decided to get his teaching certificate and Master's Degree. Teachers at Evergreen suggested he check into the Univ. Of Phoenix on line program. He did, and now he will be getting his Masters and teaching certificate this Jan. It requires a lot of on line work, and one Sat. a mo at Portland Community College. He was able to file for loans to take care of his tuition. He will be teaching Science and Math on the Middle and High school level. Just thought I would give you a heads up on our experience. Glad to know you are improving and sorry you had to give up your practice. Special regards, Meredith

Hi! I am a watcher of EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER on ABC. I was thinking that it would be an awesome idea for you. I wanted to run it by you before I did anything about it. What do you think? Part of the reason I wanted to tell you is because Jason seems so active....:) I don't know if you guys would be home. I'm sure if they did a story on you it would help. Well, write me back and tell me what you think. Love, Mariah

Hows it going Jay? I just had my 33rd b-day yesterday and couldn't help but think about you all weekend, knowing that you were injured on the 12th of July 08, one day before my B-day. It was a bittersweet b-day. I just cant believe a year has gone by. You should be soooooo very proud of how far you have come in a year. You have driven yourself beyond anyone's expectations and you should be so PROUD of yourself and I know your family IS more than PROUD of you. You are a prime example of what PRAYER and HOPE can produce in a soul. Always remember that you ARE WORTH it..and your loved ten thousand fold. Love you lots Jay....call me soon!!
