Served on the "Happy Jack" 56-58. What a great time with a lot of memories. Chief Willey tried hard to keep me in line. Would like to hear from "Hump", Mr. Peepers", "BJ" Stark, Tacky, "Red On The Head", "Tony Welch" or any other shipmate during that time. I served on the Harold J. Ellison in 1975. I was a machinest mate in the aft engine room. We were home ported in Philadelphia PA. Was a great tin can to serve on. Anyone serving during this time, please send me an email. Would love to share some old memories. Also looking to purchase a ship picture while she was under way. My time short time on board was as a Midshipman in the USC NROTC program, my last training cruise before 1952 graduation. She gave me the best training of the various ships and stations we were priviledged to visit. The crew was highly experienced, proud and ship handling was superb. Fond shore leave memories for an 82 year old guy at lovely (ahem) spots such as Gitmo Bay. Herb
