Visited Augst 2008.Had a great week dispite the weather. The boys said it was the best camp that they had ever been too.

Service crew great and I really enjoyed the campfire.

Only fault we found was the mens toilets were too small and no disposal faclities for waste water or rubbish.Burning of plastics not very environmentally friendly.

It's just a suggestion but would it be possible to form a link with a local bottle gas supplier
we and some others on site had an awful job finding somewhere to get gas.In the end we went to the tourist information office who tracked down a supply at a holiday camp in Paignton

Otherwise greatsite and pleasent staff, would like to visit site in the sunshine

Stayed at campsite 26th/28th May with 3rd Woodley Cubs - thanks to Brian for making me welcome on my arrival - even though the weather was atrocious and most of our tents came down, I had a great time. The view is fantastic.

The rest of our Pack will stay until 31st May - and I know they are having a great time.

Stayed on the site in 2005/06/07. The site is set in a beautiful part of Devon run by an excellent and devoted service crew - Brian, Christine, Dave, Mike and others!, who could not make you more welcome! It's an excellent site for all sorts of activities with wonderful sea views and is idealic for those from 'inland' Groups looking for an exciting camp!Keep up the great work, see you next time. Once visited never forgotten!

We stayed at Watcombe from 15th-22nd August 2007 and had an
amazing time. Stayed on a lovely site overlooking the sea
and the whole atmosphere on site was lovely. Amenities on
site were great and the whole crew were very welcoming!

Definately will be coming back one day.

Thanks again!

Ian (SL) and all at 3rd Potters Bar Scout Troop,
Hertfordshire.

Thank you to one of the friendliest and most helpful
service Crews we have encountered in many years of
scouting, especially Brian, Mike and Dave. The leaders and
scouts of 4th Daventry Scout Group thoroughly enjoyed their
Summer camp and will certainly recommend the site to other
Scout Groups.

Hello Brian, Dave, Mike, Christine and all the others of
the Service Team,
back at home we are looking back on a realy wonderfull
camp. The weeks at Watcombe Campsite were a great adventure
and we felt at home. Thank you for all the kind support. We
also hope that the good weather stayed and we did not take
it with us to germany. I hope we will meet again in the
future.
Greetings from Philipp and Eva
